Our Integrated Model

View our impact

Isolated interventions rarely produce sustained change. Learners experience academic, social, and environmental challenges simultaneously. YOSA’s model was designed as an integrated system embedded directly within partner schools.

By strengthening the school environment, supporting families, and reinforcing learner capability at the same time, the model addresses root causes rather than symptoms.

This systems-based design enables measurable, long-term improvement.

The Three Pillars of Delivery

Learning Support

Psychosocial Support

Psychosocial Support

Targeted academic interventions strengthen learner performance, retention, and progression.

Delivery includes:

  • Curriculum-aligned subject reinforcement

  • Tutoring and structured academic support

  • Collaboration with educators to reinforce classroom learning

The objective is to strengthen competence and academic stability within the school environment.

Psychosocial Support

Psychosocial Support

Psychosocial Support

In-school social work services address barriers that undermine educational participation, including trauma, substance exposure, behavioural instability, and family vulnerability.

By stabilising the emotional and social context surrounding learners, this pillar creates conditions necessary for sustained academic engagement and growth.

Digital Innovation

Psychosocial Support

Digital Innovation

Digital tools support the long term prospects of learners.

This includes:

  • Digital literacy support

  • Technology-enhanced curriculum reinforcement

The 6C Developmental Progression

YOSA - How the Model Works in Practice

The model is guided by a structured developmental framework:

  • Competence – Developing practical and academic skills

  • Confidence – Strengthening belief in personal capability

  • Connection – Building healthy relationships with peers, educators, and family

  • Character – Reinforcing responsibility and integrity

  • Care – Cultivating empathy and social awareness

  • Contribution – Encouraging active participation in community wellbeing

Each stage reinforces the next. Change is developmental rather than reactive, creating sustained internal and external growth.

Monitoring & Measuring

Model Integrity & Scalability

YOSA’s integrated model demonstrates that coordinated academic, psychosocial, and digital systems can produce measurable improvements within complex school environments.

By embedding delivery within schools and strengthening the broader learner ecosystem, the model is designed for replication without compromising depth or integrity.

Structured design, disciplined monitoring, and focused engagement ensure that impact is sustainable and accountable.
